Reviews are starting to come in for SECRETS OF A WEDDING NIGHT and I’m thrilled to report that Romantic Times Book Reviews has given it a coveted 4-star review. They had this to say about the book: “This fast-paced, charming debut, sparkling with witty dialogue and engaging characters, marks Bowman for stardom.”
I could not be more excited!
Also, Romance Junkies gave the book a 4-ribbon rating and said this: “SECRETS OF A WEDDING NIGHT is positively enchanting. It became impossible to put down after reading just a few pages. I was up very late finishing this wonderful tale of love and second chances.”
And this…
“SECRETS OF A WEDDING NIGHT has it all, a clever story line, witty and engaging dialogue and passionate love scenes that ignite the senses.”
And Publishers Weekly called it “enchanting” and also had this to say about the book: “Bowman’s cast of intriguing, well-developed characters—particularly smart, sensible Lily—makes this an engaging debut that will have readers seeking future installments.”
Finally, I (well, most of me, sans head) was in the New York Times Sunday edition on August 19th (page 7 of the business section) in a photo shoot taken at the RWA National conference in Anaheim, CA in July. That’s me in the lavender Regency gown wearing long white gloves and sporting a reticule. The funny thing is, that’s also me in the far background of the picture with author Jeffe Kennedy and her great hat! (See my sister, Melanie, holding her iPad? Yay! Our heads made it after all!)
Dear Ms. Bowman,
I am honored to be invited to your book launch and will be delighted to attend.
