Happy December everyone!
This month I’m happy to report that Secrets of a Runaway Bride has been nominated for Best Historical Romance: Love and Laughter by Romantic Times Book Reviews for their annual Reviewers’ Choice awards. Wow! I’m in the same category as Tessa Dare, Teresa Medeiros, Elizabeth Essex, Tracy Anne Warren, and Julie Anne Long. What an honor! Somebody pinch me! I’ll definitely be at the RT Convention in New Orleans in May, 2014 to celebrate!
What I’m Up To . . .
This month, I’m hard at work writing the second book in my new Playful Brides series which begins next year with The Unexpected Duchess on 4/29/2014. The second book is called The Accidental Countess and is based on Oscar Wilde’s delightful play, The Importance of Being Earnest. It’s one of my absolute favorites and writing this book has been a blasty blast!
Say Yes to the Dress!
I’m still keeping an eye out for my episode of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta. It will air any Friday night now. (Taps finger impatiently.) They haven’t been able to tell me the date yet but I keep waiting for a phone call! I’ve been keeping my wedding pictures off FaceBook in anticipation and it’s killing me! ; )
It Happened Under the Mistletoe On Sale
My Christmas novella, It Happened Under the Mistletoe, is still on sale for only $1.99 and has been getting rave reviews. Readers are loving the rompaliciousness of this one. I hope you’ll take a minute to read the first chapter and see what you think! There’s a mysterious Christmas cat! Yes. In the first chapter.
Dashing, Darling
Finally, I hope you’ll stop by my group blog, The Dashing Duchesses, sometime. We have weekly posts and giveaways by a group of fantastic historical romance authors. You can also like the blog on FaceBook and follow us on Twitter.
I hope you all have a fantabulous holiday season! I’ll be busy writing, writing, writing.
