Happy December!
Hi everyone,
Now that you’ve seen the three covers for my new Regency trilogy, The Footmen’s Club, I would LOVE your opinion on the titles!
The current titles are:
- The Footman and I
- Duke Looks Like a Groomsman
- The Valet Who Loved Me
I’ve gotten some feedback that with these titles, it may not be clear that the heroes aren’t *ACTUALLY* servants (not that there’s anything wrong with that). What do you think? I’d appreciate your feedback. Should I change the titles to be more like: The Earl Who Pretended to be a Footman or The Marquess Valet?
What I’m Up To…
My family just celebrated our first Thanksgiving in our townhouse where Huckleberry and Violet (who are usually not allowed table food) were given tiny plates with a bit of turkey and a dollop of mashed potatoes and gravy. Needless to say, I think it’s their favorite day of the year. Next, my husband and I are going to Colorado to celebrate our 10-year anniversary (of meeting). We’re from Florida, so seeing legit snow is going to be an adventure (at least for my husband who has never seen more than an inch or two of it). Wish us luck!
Have a merry December and thank you for reading my latest news!
Valerie
I agree books 1 and 3 sound like they may be about servants. That being said I love the titles. The books sound like they will be tons on fun!!
Thank you, Dorothy!
I love the clever titles and would not change them. Guess what? surprise for the readers.
Thanks, Angela!
Love them. Can’t wait to read them.
Thanks, Rita!
I honestly love the titles. I also think The Earl who pretended to be a Footman would be to long of a title. The Marquess Valet isn’t bad, but I much prefer the title it has now.
